DVD at 5 Honors Dinner:
 On Thursday, June 27th the DVD at 5 Honors Dinner and reception will be held at the Marina Beach Marriott Hotel. The meet and greet cocktail reception will be from 6:00-7:15p.m. with the dinner following from 7:30-9:00p.m. Dinner tickets for conference registrants will be $50 and $100 for non-conference registrants. Group rates are available by calling the DVD at 5 Hotline at 310-967-2980.

DVD@ 5 Conference Speakers Include:
 Presidents of key video suppliers including Bob Chapek, Buena Vista Home Entertainment; Kelly Sooter, Dreamworks Home Entertainment; Pat Wyatt, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment; and Craig Kornblau, Universal Studios Home Video will discuss their studios’ role in DVD’s growth as well as the direction the DVD business is headed.

Leading Hollywood film directors will also step out for the occasion to discuss their upcoming DVD releases and how they view the medium from both a creative and a commercial standpoint. Invited guests include Vicki Jensen (Shrek), Nicholas Meyer (Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn), Allan Moyle (Empire Records) and Kevin Smith (Dogma).

Prominent DVD producers including Colleen Benn (Beautiful Mind), Rob Burnett (Usual Suspects), Chris Carey (Snow White), Anita Holly (Thirteen Days) and Mark Rowan (Shrek) will preview their upcoming projects and discuss ever-expanding value-added features.

 Showing their support for the popular DVD format in its fifth year, several Hollywood studios have secured sponsorships of DVD at 5 including:

Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will kick-off conference events by hosting a cocktail reception, prior to the DVD at 5 Honors dinner, with comments from home video studio president, Ben Feingold. Center pieces, wine and champagne at the dinner will be supplied by Buena Vista Home Entertainment and Image Entertainment will provide audio and ambient music for the dinner.

The breakfast which begins the day's conference program is hosted by Artisan Home Entertainment. Warner Home Video is sponsoring the lunch and providing a special celebrity guest speaker. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is the featured sponsor of the day's coffee breaks, which will be themed after upcoming DVD releases.

DreamWorks Home Entertainment will comfort speakers and VIPs in a Shrek-themed Green Ogre Room. Universal Studios Home Video is providing the staging in the Hollywood style of their big DVD releases this year. Paramount Home Entertainment will provide the programs and Universal Studios Operations Group and the Digital Video Compression Center are providing lanyards.
