DVD ENTERTAINMENT GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW WEB SITE ADDRESS www.dvdinformation.com New Home for Industry Resource LOS ANGELES - Feb. 29, 2000 - With the recent re-charter of the DVD Video Group as the DVD Entertainment Group, the organization's web site address is also changing. Consumers can now reach the industry resource at www.dvdinformation.com, and e-mail any DVD related questions to getinfo@dvdinformation.com. Under its new name, the web site offers an added feature - the ability to search the database of some 5,600 DVD-Video titles by name, as well as by studio, genre or rating. As they become available, DVD-Audio titles will also be listed. "With the revised DVD Entertainment Group web site (dvdinformation.com), consumers can access the latest, most up-to-date information on DVD," said Emiel, N. Petrone, executive vice president, Philips Entertainment Group, worldwide and chairman, DVD Entertainment Group. "We hope that consumers and the trade will continue to rely on the site as the industry source for all information relating to DVD." Other features still available on the site include weekly updates of the top-selling DVD-Video titles, upcoming release listings, current information on DVD-Video players, and comprehensive information about the DVD-Video format.
